Spring Market = Sold Foreclosures in the Fraser Valley

Blog by Crissy Turner | March 15th, 2015

Just like every year around this time....the birds are singing, flowers starting to bloom, and buyers are searching for homes! Unlike every year, this year in the Fraser Valley we are seeing just as many buyers, but less inventory. This means bidding wars, everywhere, even in the Foreclosure/Court Ordered Sale world.

In the past month there have been 6 detattched foreclosure homes sold through the courts and have sold well above asking price. See below for homes and prices:

 - 2571 Zurich Dr., Abbottsford - Asking = $409,000, Sold = $445,000

 - 4560 208th Street, Langley - Asking = $439,900, Sold = $510,000

 - 13930 78A Street, Surrey - Asking = $459,300, Sold = $486,124

 - 9407 138A Street, Surrey - Asking = $479,000, Sold = $520,000

 - 6231 171A Street, Cloverdale - Asking = $469,000, Sold = $508,300

 - 2749 Lucern Drive, Abbottsford - Asking = $489,900, Sold - $485,500

It wasn't just detattched homes that were up for grabs, the normally slow condo market also saw over asking sold prices. Below are the details for sold foreclosure condos in the Fraser Valley in the past 30 days:

 - #13 27090 32nd Avenue, Langley - Asking = 119,000, Sold = $130,100
